Delete your account

You can delete your Friday Pour account and its data at any time, from inside the app. You do not need to contact us first.

From the app

Open Friday Pour and tap your profile photo, top right of the Pour tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen.
Tap Delete my account.
Confirm twice. The second prompt is the point of no return.

Deletion runs immediately and signs you out. There is no undo and no grace period, so make sure it is what you want.

If you cannot get into the app

If you have lost access to the email address you signed up with, or the app will not open, email heyheywhatadayllc@gmail.com from any address and tell us the email address on the account. We will verify what we reasonably can and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in email
Your display name, profile photo and birthday
Your Venmo and Cash App usernames
Every pour you posted, including its photos
Your comments and cheers
Your shelf, its bottles and your ratings
Your friends, friend requests and blocks
Your push notification tokens, so notifications stop
Notifications about you, and notifications sent to you

What is kept, and why

What	Why
Reports you filed about other people's content	These are safety records. The report survives, but it is disconnected from you: your identity is removed from it and cannot be recovered.
Bottles you added to the shared bottle catalogue	Other people's shelves reference them. The entry stays, with you no longer recorded as the person who added it.
Encrypted backups	Routine backups may hold your data for up to 30 days before they are overwritten on their normal cycle. They are not used to restore deleted accounts.

Comments and cheers you left on other people's pours are deleted along with your account, so they disappear from those pours too.
